Renowned Pianist Oksana Performs A Free Concert At The Saint Petersburg Pier On Saturday March 14^th From 1 to 4 p.m.

Saint Petersburg, Florida: Feb 22, 2009 - World renowned Russian-born pianist and composer Oksana Kolesnikova, a former Tampa Bay resident, will give a special performance on Saturday March 14th at the St. Petersburg Pier from 1 to 4 PM; the free concert is open to the public.

“This is a chance for area residents to hear one of the world’s best-known pianists and composers who is widely recognized as a top international artist,” says Susan Robertson, Marketing Manager of the Pier.

Widely known simply as Oksana, she arrived from Russia to the Tampa Bay area in 1993 and attended St. Petersburg College and FSU. Now living in California, she regularly performs for A-list celebrities at the legendary Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Her moving piano performances have entertained and inspired U.S. troops and United Nations officials worldwide. Oksana is regularly featured on PBS, FOX, HSN, TLC and MTV.

In addition to being a live performer and musical collaborator, her diversified pursuits include being the founder of her School of Music, based in Los Angeles, CA.

She has recorded seven CDs and is a collaborator with many accomplished international artists. Her unusual career combines her versatile musical talents with activism as an environmentalist with a close association with the eco-focused non-profit, Cool Green.
